2018 Christmas Gift Guide

I am sure there will have been at least one person who groaned and said it is too soon for this. Well dear readers let me tell you, it is Christmas gift season, and the buying has well and truly commenced. In years gone by I have compiled EXTENSIVE lists of gift ideas. Having had a look through those posts, a lot of the links still work, and if they don’t then similar objects are available and you can use them for a huge amount of inspiration.

You can see 2017’s guides here, here and here as well as 2016’s guide here. I have also written a few shopping edits for PlusMinus Magazine, which I have linked here.

This year I have decided on something a little more personal, looking at the things that I would like to purchase, as well as a few that I would like to receive. Yes, this year I have actual things to show you, I originally intended to do this because last year I spent 5 solid days on my gift guide, and so I wanted to reduce my labour a little. However, I think that it has turned into something more useful and accessible.

Let's do this, there are links to EVERYTHING, so there really is no excuse to fall behind on the gift buying this year

Chanel Perfumes

You cannot go wrong with perfume for Christmas, because everyone wants to smell great. In my oh so humble opinion the house of Chanel pumps out some of the sexiest smells at the minute. A little pricey, but well worth it. Seriously your nostrils will thank me.

Pilot V Fountain Pens

I’ve included these pens for two reasons. Number one, stationery is a HUGE market for Christmas and will go down well with lots of people. The second reason is that I may have lost my mind when I saw these. When I think of fountain pens I think of leaky metal affairs, but these sealed 21st century bad boys have changed the game.

Who doesn’t love an item specific kitchen tool? This Joseph and Joseph tool is perfect for tapas lovers, to scoop those olives out of jars. Now I have been using this for pickled onions and can say it is wonderful for that too. Basically, buy this for anyone who likes pickled products, which is amazing considering we had national pickle day this past week.
