Unless you have been in a coma for a couple of months or spent time in the Antarctic with no wifi then you will be aware that there is a general election this Thursday. I urged you to register to vote, and you will have done that already- if you haven’t then it is too late- which in my opinion is such a wasted opportunity.
So now you’ve got your polling card, this is where it gets really simple. All you need to do now is go and vote, the card will tell you where your polling station is, and then you can work out when you want to vote.
Most polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm, that’s 15 hours. You will be able to find 10-15 minutes to go and vote.
I’m not telling you who you should vote for- on my blog I am neutral, the Switzerland of Bloggers if you like. There are so many opinions and sides in this election that I couldn’t even begin to advise you whom to vote for. However, none of that matters if you don’t go and put a cross in a box.
You have still got a day and a half to make a decision, just make sure you go and vote, remember that one of the things that makes Britain great is that we have a democracy, but you undermine all the better bits of the UK if you refuse to vote.
So do one thing for yourself, or do it for me, or for Michael Bird, it doesn’t matter who you do it for- just make sure you go and vote.
It's kind of a big deal, so don't mess it up.
GO AND VOTE.
