December Favourites

Welcome to my December favourites, I cannot believe I am writing this, 2016 is NEARLY OVER. I will round up my 2016 favourites soon, but today we are talking about the things I have been loving this month, obviously with a festive flavour! With out any more preamble lets do this for the last time this year !!

Oh my word, how have I managed to go through my life without seeing this show. I have not stopped watching this, I love it SO much. Honestly I am mainly there for Cookie played by Taraji P Henson, she is everything I have ever needed, so sassy and divine. It is so fast paced and filled with drama that you have to pay attention, otherwise you will miss something important. I cannot recommend this anymore, maybe great to try in the new year to battle those January blues. The first two seasons are on Amazon Prime, and its all on Netflix, buy the DVDs here.

Gucci Bamboo

This perfume is such a big part of my life right now. My obsession with Gucci continues, in scent form. As you can tell I have used it A LOT. With subtle scents of Deep Sandalwood, Tahitian Vanilla, Grey Amber and Orange Blossom- according to Gucci. All I know is that I love it !! It is very different to the other scents that I wear, but I have been so in love with it this month. This may be my new favourite scent.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

I am a H-U-G-E Harry Potter fan, and so another film affiliated with Harry Potter, I was hooked. I really enjoyed this film, it was funny, touching and well written. Many times a spin off doesn’t live up to expectations, yet this was so good with stand out performances from Eddie Redmayne and Dan Fogler. I cannot recommend this enough, go and see it now !!

Micellar Water

I have recently started a different regime of medication for my acne and that has altered my skin and the way I have to care for it. This cleanser came on high recommendation from my sister. Well let me tell you I have not looked back since I stared using it. It is so gentle and cleansing at the same time, leaving my skin so soft. I use the one for sensitive skin, there are other types that are formulated for different things. Trust me and maybe give it a go if you are in the market for something new.

I always look forward to the festive period and Youtube doesn’t disappoint. For those who don’t know Vlogmas is daily vlogs over the Christmas period. My personal favourites are Zoella and Estee Lalonde who offer very different things. Its nice to see how other people approach the festive period, and always adds another element of countdown to the festive period.

Go watch here and here.

Meeting new People

The internet allows us to connect with people all over the world as well as those who live closer. I have enjoyed meeting someone who I have spoken to online in real life. I had always seen Jamie and we spoke digitally actually meeting happened by accident, but was such a blessing, so I am very thankful that it happened. Forging new friendships with like minded people is so refreshing in a year and society that seems to be against us. So I recommend reaching out to the people you speak to on Twitter or Instagram if you know they are local, why not, you can never have too many friends. Jamie has an amazing blog that is well worth checking out as it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, go on thank me later !!

Olay day Cream

This goes with the Micellar water, this moisturiser is light enough that it doesn’t feel greasy, but moisturising enough to make a difference. It’s not too expensive, and as added bonus it has a SPF in it to protect you from all the harmful rays from the sun. My mum uses it and loves it too, so it probably is a very universal moisturiser, so go and try it.
