Summer is well and truly upon us right now !! I thought today would be a good day to share what things in my wardrobe I rely upon during the warmer months.
Striped Tees
I have always been a stripe addict, and summer seems to highlight this. For me, they are key layering pieces working well on their own and under jackets. I have an array of stripes that are a staple in summer.
Sunglasses
Okay so these are a year long obsession for me, but obviously, in summer these are an essential. So many pairs make up my collection, but in summer I need a stronger tint so I turn to my Karen Walker super dupers and my huge Gucci numbers.
Wide Legs
Summer is the time that I want to wear wide legs because they whip up a breeze like no other pieces can do. It's a draw between my culottes or my wide legged trousers pair in black.
Statement Tees
This is very on trend for summer, I have been shopping and loving statement Tees and I can't get enough this summer. So maybe not every summer but for this summer, statement Tees are an obsession.
Trainers
This summer I have had some issues with pain in my feet, and I have wanted comfort but without compromising on style, so for me, I have turned to trainers. These 3 are my absolute favourites, 2 pairs of old skools (which are the best trainers FYI) and Stan smiths in white for classic balance.
So there you have it, my staples for summer !! These are things that I wear day to day when I'm running errands and going to work. I think that it's so important to have a balance in your wardrobe, it is clear that my everyday looks are in sharp contrast to some of the clothes that I show on here and my Instagram.
