What’s that coming over the hill? Is it a Hobby?

I haven’t had a hobby, maybe ever, but especially as an adult.

I must clarify, I have had hobbies in the past, but they have been taken so seriously by me, that I am now an award winning author, presenter, educator and consultant.

Social media was once a hobby.

Producing podcasts was once a hobby.

Shooting content was once a hobby.

You get my drift.

But, I might finally have a hobby, more importantly a hobby that I cannot turn into work, or ever monetise!

Yes, like thousands of millennials before me, I have turned to vinyl. I am gently collecting vinyl, playing vinyl, and thoroughly enjoying vinyl.

I have been enjoying listening to music, sitting down, and actually listening to a whole album. What was background noise, has become a pleasurable way to intentionally spend my time.

I have a hobby, and I am thrilled. It has only taken me 32 years on this planet, but I am a person with a hobby, and I am content.
