Coat Season- Balenciaga Trench

Welcome back to coat season on benpechey.com, so far we have looked at the versatile trench and the oh so stylish Prince of Wales blazer, today is the turn of something slightly different.

Obviously, I must add here that NO this coat is not from Balenciaga because I don't have £4,450. However, the coat I am wearing is a DEAD RINGER for the Balenciaga number.​

Just as the cotton trench has become prolific as a coat choice for this winter so too has the leather/vinyl trench. This one is from ASOS man, yes MAN, who knew!! I was so excited to try this coat as it is something really different for me, I normally prefer wool and faux fur so a full Vinyl coat is a new territory. It has added the missing element to some of my looks, adding a hardness I didn't know I needed.

So if you are considering a new coat, maybe try something a little different and out of your comfort zone, it might just surprise you. I have also found some other options for you here, here, here and here.
