London Fashion Week...

Darlings welcome back to another Friday post on benpechey.com. Today I want to share with you my experience of London Fashion Week. I attended the shows with PlusMinus Magazine to report on the shows, it was a hectic three days so lets recap together !!

Day One

On the Friday I attended intimate presentations from Leon Lloyd, Boo Pala and Milo Maria. I also saw Rocky Star’s Catwalk show. For me the standout of day one was Milo Maria. It had the set, the look and the music. What was so refreshing about this collection was not only was it all completely wearable, but the models were having so much fun. The props and set created an atmosphere but the models made it an event.

For Day One I chose to wear my Blue Suit from Asos, paired with a fun Pineapple shirt, green vans and a small bag from Mango this felt very fresh and appropriate for LFW.

Day Two

Saturday saw me headed to Freemasons Hall to the Fashion Scout shows. Saturday was SO busy, seeing shows back to back was incredible, but also exhausting !! My highlights were Alex S. Yu’s presentation full of psychedelic space references. I adored Han Wen’s show featuring luxurious street wear, sitting front row with Grainne Mccoy from the Apprentice, who was SO lovely !!

For day two I wore a suit this time from M&S, paring it with a pop of orange in the form of a simple jumper and my all white Stan Smiths this was such a smart look- that was also incredibly comfortable.

Day Three

Sunday felt like a repeat of Saturday, only with longer queues. Again at Freemasons Hall the shows were fast paced and Fun, with highlights from Theo Vii, Cimone and Annderstand. I also visited the designer showrooms which was so incredible, seeing and talking to designers about their garments was so insightful. Plus all the free popcorn !!

For day three I wore yet another suit from Asos, this time in a light blush, I went for a spring vibe with a Cuba themed tee. This look was quite daring for me, but I loved the colour and will definitely be playing with similar shades in the future.

I adored London Fashion Week, I’m still tired but the experience was incredible, seeing up and coming designers, meeting new and talented people and sampling all the free popcorn flavours all made for a fabulous time !!

To read up on the shows I have rambled on about head over to PlusMinus magazine.

I will see you on Tuesday with my February faves, have a gorgeous weekend everyone !!
