Take Risks

Safe is a nice word, and a nice state to exist in but being safe never really progresses anything, and the old adage ‘If you do what you’ve always done you’ll get what you’ve always gotten’ is so true - it is time for me to take risks.

The best and easiest way to do this is with my wardrobe. What is the worst thing that could happen?

Nothing really that bad will ever happen if you switch up your wardrobe. There is something quite exciting and bold putting together a look that is quite different to how you normally dress.

I have loved and toyed with the idea of a skirt over trousers for a little while now. I saw this one in the dregs of the M&S sale and grabbed it, being in the sale made this a no-brainer. I paired it with an old pair of M&S trousers using the sporty stripe down the side as a way to pull the look together and introduce a flash of white I could use to being in accessories. This look is about balance and proportion - and I hate to blow my own trumpet, but I think I did a really good job!!

So hun, take some sartorial risks, why not, have some fun!!
