The Hypocrisy of Transphobes

Writer: Ben PecheyBen Pechey

Transphobia as it stands is at an all-time high. I long ago gave up being able to change the minds of staunch anti-trans messes. However, I am dedicated to ensuring that people in the middle are aware of what transphobia is built on.

One of the ambassadors for transphobia - a famous magic-based author JK you know who - has built her entire brand on standing for women’s rights. In short, she has done everything in her power to ruin the lives of trans people.

The idea of trans rights revoking the rights of women is bullshit - no ifs ands or buts - but JK refuses to believe that. Hiding behind ‘women’s rights’ is a joke, but if scrutinised I guess there is a sliver of principle there.

This is where the hypocrisy comes in, in bucket fulls.

JK has outwardly approved of the latest president. The one who is not a staunch supporter of women’s rights. The one who has more convictions - including sexual misconduct against women - than there are female trans athletes in the U.K. Who has staff around him that have more convictions - including sexual misconduct against women - than there are trans athletes in the U.K. and the US combined.

So transphobes don’t have a leg to stand on - their thin guise of being transphobic to protect women- is utter hypocrisy. You can’t care about women if you support #47. You don’t care about women if you’re gunning for trans people - you’re just a bad person.

I hope that debunks any reservations you had about transphobic stances as a ‘protection for women’s rights’. To be clear it is all lies. We don't choose to be trans, but they choose to hate us.

You’re safer with trans people than you are with those who choose to hate us.
