Yes Sir, I can Boogie
Today is your regular scheduled Sartorial Inspirations post. This month I wanted to look at one of the ways I used to be inspired, which is blogs. I looked back to some older posts that I remember and have taken some inspiration for some print play. See them here, here and here.
It may sound silly but recently I have stopped looking for blogs for style inspiration. When you are in an environment where if you seek inspiration you can quite easily you can end up copying others - without even realising it. I feel that blogging is an industry where we need to credit everyone’s individuality and talent first - because we are all so unique.
I adore leopard print and stripes independently - but these blog posts urged me to put them together. I found this look really fun, and I think I have highlighted the balance required for taking inspiration but also making it your own. Remember, be yourself, because everyone else is taken
That’s all for today darlings, I will see you on Tuesday as always.
