Three Amazing Years

On Tuesday the 1st of may I handed in the final project of my degree. With one final deadline, my time at UCA Epsom was over. It has felt strange in the few days since, and so I thought it would be nice to reflect on my degree. I never imagined how much I would grow in this time, and during my degree I am not sure if I saw this development, however, sitting in bed writing this, I really can see how much I have changed as a person.

There are some things you should know about a fashion degree, firstly I did not spend three years making clothes, that’s only fashion design. Secondly, it is SO MUCH HARD WORK. Please don’t get me wrong, academic degrees are hard, but my degree was just as rigorous and challenging. Also, it has an added element of jeopardy, you are constantly working with taste and perception of taste, and you will never be able to please everyone, so it is even harder to succeed. Yet this has meant that the work that has made has been challenging and as a result has been brilliant.

The other great thing about my degree is getting to meet loads of amazing people, and experience new things. You all know who you are, and I love you all. Being in the south has meant easy access to London, and to so much culture, I have been to so many amazing exhibitions, and so many less amazing ones too!!! This has been an amazing part of my time spent at UCA Epsom.

There are not enough memes in the world to express how much of a rollercoaster of a ride these past three years has been, so instead, I will leave you with some pictures from my time at university.

Thank you for joining me today, and I will see you all soon…
