Finders Keepers...

Welcome to Friday's post on, today’s post was inspired by a rummage in my own wardrobe. Join me in a little story about one of the pit falls of loving clothes but not always loving how they look on yourself.

So dial back to 2016 and I purchased this jumper from the H&M David Beckham Modern essentials collection. I am a huge fan of stripes, and I didn’t own anything like this at the time.

The order arrived and it fitted, but I didn’t love it. However, unlike sensible people like my mother, probably you and most other people I KEPT it. I never wore it. I would pull it out and consider it, but never put it on my back.

Scroll up to this spring and I tried this jumper again. Not only did I like it, but I found that it fitted in with my wardrobe. So I finally WORE it, I’m not sure what was wrong with it in the first place, perspective and opinions are funny things and sometimes a mirror is not your friend, and other times she is your truest friend.

So I found a great outfit staple, from within my own wardrobe, and I bet I’m not the only one who can admit to this. Strict budgeting and interning has meant that new threads have had to be kept to a minimum, which for a fashion blogger is TOUGH. However rummaging into my own collection has been like shopping the ASOS new in section.

SO here is my weekend challenge to YOU, take a look in your wardrobe, and see what you have hardly worn and make a look. Not only are you saving money and assuaging your guilt but you get a great new outfit for FREE. Honey, you will be a Martin Lewis money expert in no time !!!

Thank you for stopping by- your support is invaluable !! I hope you all have a great weekend…

Thank you to Rachel who shot this look for me, I was especially difficult that day, and being a Blog/Instagram Sister is HARD. I am a true DIVA and I worked you hard that day, but the shots were worth it- LOVE YOU.
