Ahoy there, and welcome back to benpechey.com, and to another in my mind piece. To round out the month I am bringing you all the new things that I have loved this month.
Buckle your seatbelts kids because this is a wild ride through the new things that I have loved this month.
We will start where I quite often like to start - with music. This month I have started a love affair with the music of The Cardigans. Love fool and My favourite Game have been on non-stop repeat this month. I can’t tell you why I love them so much, but I really do. Also, the video for Favourite Game gives me Ganni SS19 vibes, which is a big mood.
Talking of cardigans, how major is this Zebra(?) number from Marks and Spencer, which by the way is £12. By now you will realise that I really do love a cardigan for their versatility and how they make dressing super easy. This one also ticks more boxes as it is a little lighter, making it perfect for the spring months we are moving into. Also just FYI, in fashion the Cardigan is very much back...
Ushering in spring means the days are getting lighter and are now longer. This means that sleep is more important than ever before. In the last 6 months, I have been struggling to fall asleep. I have down all the usual methods, having a bath, minimising screen time and reading before bed.
So the new thing that I have turned too, that I love has been sleep meditation. Now it might not be for everyone, but having someone literally talking me to sleep has been a godsend - and works nearly every night. I have an app- but they are actually loads on YouTube that are amazing. I really like this one and this one.
Talking of new things I love- I have been really crushing hard on these shoes from Primury. I mean I love corduroy, and to have shoes made from them - is really major. Also, the Brillo pad(?) on the top really makes me smile. Oh and the brand used recycled rubber and sustainable leather.
So The Cardigans, an actual Cardigan, Sleep meditation and new shoes - what a month !!
